Digital Solution for the Management of Parking Permits
The Agency was commissioned by the city of Montréal to design and manage a digital solution for administering parking permits issued by the city or the Agency.
This service will be available to all users, both individuals and businesses, and will simplify the management of parking permits, including:
- Residents-only permits (stickers)
- Permits for Agency-managed lots
- Permits for car-sharing services
Users will be able to access the feature 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through their Mobicité account (via the website or the Mobicité app).
A simple, secure and accessible online service
The solution will offer users an intuitive digital experience allowing them to manage their parking permits independently. Ultimately, centralizing all parking permits in a single interface will simplify the process for residents and organizations and allow them to compare the various options available.
Users will be able to use their Mobicité account to:
- Apply for a new parking permit
- Renew an existing permit
- Replace a sticker that was lost, stolen or damaged
- Pay securely online
- Track a request
- View their transaction history
Rollout schedule
December 2025: Launch of the online service, including a permit program for car-sharing companies.
Late 2026: Inclusion of management for residents-only parking permits (stickers) for the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough.
2027: Integration of permits for Agency-managed lots.
2027–2028: Phased rollout of online management for residents-only parking permits in other boroughs (schedule to be determined).
