Curbside inventory project
The Agence de mobilité durable is launching a new curbside inventory project as laid out in its operational and organizational strategic plan.
A van equipped with cameras will first be driven around the Ville-Marie borough to collect data on implicit and explicit regulations, which will then be reviewed by our teams.
This project will produce detailed data that the Agence de mobilité durable will use to review current parking regulations, help the City make decisions about how best to use public spaces and effectively enforce regulations to reduce traffic, make more parking available and keep our public spaces safe.
This project will also:
- Provide residents with better information about curbside use
- Make parking regulations easier to understand
- Be a new source of open data for sustainable mobility
As a responsible organization, the Agency makes security and privacy a priority and processes all data collected in accordance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (CQLR, c. A-2.1), to which it is subject.
