Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal (SCSM) hereby wishes to comment on the City of Montréal’s announcement of its new Parking Policy.

Stationnement de Montréal announces that it will participate in Ville de Montréal’s Operation snow removal for a 6th year by offering free overnight parking (6 p.m. to 7 a.m.) in 2,131 parking spaces in 20 designated parking lots during snow removal periods.

Starting this fall, parking in Verdun will get much simpler. Parking meters will be replaced with pay stations and signs provided by Stationnement de Montréal. This change in urban furniture will therefore enable drivers to pay using cash, a credit card or the P$ Mobile Service app.

With nearly 532,000 subscribers across the greater Montréal region, the P$ Mobile Service app has seen impressive subscriber growth since its launch in 2012. According to a recent survey1 conducted by Stationnement de Montréal, subscribers are increasingly using the P$ Mobile Service app to cover their parking fees, from the first payment. In fact, nearly two-thirds (63%) of subscribers are using the app exclusively when paying for parking, which represents a 15% increase from 2013. This demonstrated that habits are evolving and the app is meeting driver’s needs.

The management team of Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal (the “Société”) has published its financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2014.

Stationnement de Montréal is thrilled to announce the reopening its parking lot, located corner Fleury and Chambord, in Ahuntsic, as of June 19, 2015.

Stationnement de Montréal will, for a second time, reduce the service fee for its P$ Mobile Service app. The fee will be set at 20 cents as of June the 1st. In June of 2014, the original fee of 40 cents was reduced to 30 cents.
