Pilot Project | P$ Montréal Centre-Ville

A new tool to Improve your Search for Parking!

In collaboration with the City of Montreal, the Agency is currently developing developing a new version of its mobile application, called P$ Montréal Centre-Ville for the purpose of the pilot project, which aims primarily to improve drivers’ experience and alleviate parking issues, namely in the context of the redevelopment works of Sainte-Catherine Street.

Pinpointing the overall downtown parking offering

To optimize the use of private parking lots in this area, most of them will now be identified and geolocated on a map. In addition, as part of this pilot project, a first partnership was developed with Indigo Park Canada.

This means you will be able to take advantage of the same on-street parking rates as those on St. Catherine Street West in several nearby indoor garages managed by Indigo; users will automatically benefit from the discounted fare for two hours, without any additional action on their part, simply by showing up in one of the participating parking lots part of this unique project.

Seven (7) Indigo parking lots will participate in this new pilot and offer the attractive rate of $1.75 per half hour, up to a maximum of 2 hours.

Important information to consider: Beyond the 2-hour maximum, the usual parking lot rate will apply. Beyond the 2-hour maximum, you will automatically switch to the usual Indigo parking lot rates that will apply retroactively.

Thanks to the new P$ Montréal Centre-Ville features, you will be able to:

  • Connect with the same login information as P$ Mobile Service
  • View the Agency and its partner‘ parking offer, its location on a map and the applicable rates by sector
  • Plan your trips
  • RSVP your parking in a selection of participating lots/garages
  • Take advantage of the on-street parking pricing in participating lots/garages
  • Use the navigation tool to get to your destination
  • Connect with the same login information as P$ Mobile Service.

The recruitment period to test the application is now over.

The app will be available to anyone interested in early fall. A public announcement will be made at that time, as will the update of this Project page.

Stay tuned and thank you for your interest!
