Montréal, Québec, September 30, 2020 – The Agence de mobilité durable (the "Agency") and the City of Montréal today announced the launch and access to the general public of the new P$ Montréal Centre-Ville mobile tool, which now allows downtown motorists and visitors to easily access several private parking lots in the area near Sainte-Catherine Street, while benefiting from the same rate as on-street parking, in some of them.

Montréal, Québec, September 9, 2020 – Communauto, the Agence de mobilité durable (the “Agency”) and the City of Montréal today announced the launch of a pilot project that will allow users of  Communauto FLEX’s free-floating cars to finish a trip downtown on a paid parking space.

Montréal announces the end of the grace period to renew parking stickers for residents-only zones as of Monday, August 31 at 11:59 p.m. Exceptionally, the City had considered residents-only street parking stickers that had expired as valid until further notice in all boroughs, and no ticket was issued in this regard.

Montréal, Québec, July 20, 2020 – The Agence de mobilité durable (the "Agency") announces the implementation of a pilot project that aims to allow downtown visitors to take advantage of various existing parking lots offering and thus reduce the time to find a parking space. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the City of Montreal, as part of the redevelopment works of Sainte-Catherine Street.

Montréal, Québec, May 7, 2020 – In the context of the current sanitary crisis, and sensitive to the Mayor's appeal, the Agence de mobilité durable has been participating, since April 22nd, in a pilot project to deliver food to more vulnerable populations, in collaboration with Montreal’s Service de la diversité et de l'inclusion sociale.

The entry into force date for street signs, originally scheduled for April 1 and postponed to May 1, 2020, is now in effect. It should be noted that the municipal administration had postponed the usual date of April 1st due to the confinement.

Montréal, le 5 avril 2020 - In light of COVID-19, the city is announcing the closure of the parc du Mont-Royal parking areas and the closure of île Notre-Dame. These measures are in line with the government of Québec decision to ban all indoor and outdoor gatherings.

Montréal, le 2 avril 2020 - Today, Montréal administratively suspended its annual 25 cent per hour indexation on parking meter rates that came into force yesterday. Parking meters will be adjusted over the next few days. This suspension will be effective during the non-essential activity cessation declared by the government of Québec.
