“Ever since the creation of Stationnement de Montréal in 1995, we have attached a high value to the cause of school perseverance. In addition to welcoming young interns to our team every year, Stationnement de Montréal invests in MR3 Montréal Relève with a $600,000 contribution. Whenever you pay for a parking space, you contribute directly to the project to prevent students from dropping out of school,” explained Charles Auger, General Manager of Stationnement de Montréal.

During this one-week internship, the interns were able to perform several practical activities related to the IT environment. Under the supervision of Samir Youssef’s team, IT Director, they took apart a computer enclosure to explore and identify the components, installed software and a printer, configured a router, visited the server room, and more.

“What we appreciated most about this internship was the rewarding contribution from the mentors. We benefited from their knowledge and experience. The practical side of the internship was especially revealing, because this experience confirmed our career choice. We definitely recommend this internship to all students,” declared Secondary 4 students Bruce Edouard Brazier, 15 years old, and Rahul Patel, 16 years old.

For Stationnement de Montréal, offering a concrete internship that allows young students to confirm their interests about their choice of occupation is priceless. Conveying our passion for our work to others and teaching them aspects of our business is a worthwhile endeavour for us. For the student, it is a more than formative experience.
